Terms of service

About Morf and these terms

Morf ("Morf", "we", "us") provides the Morf desktop application and trymorf.com. These terms govern your use of our website and software. By creating an account or using Morf, you agree to these terms. If you use Morf for an organization, you must have authority to accept them on its behalf.

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle information. Our Refund policy explains cancellations and refunds.

What you are buying

Morf is subscription desktop software for Mac that helps you build applications on your computer and work with software and services you connect. A paid Morf plan provides access to the desktop app, its updates, local builds, and publishing tools for accounts you control. Available plans and billing intervals are shown on our pricing page.

You need a compatible Mac, a Morf account, and your own installed and signed-in Claude Code or Codex subscription. Morf does not sell AI credits or include AI usage, hosting, databases, domains, or other third-party services in its subscription. Those services have their own charges, usage limits, availability, and terms.

Your account and license

Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

While your subscription is active and you follow these terms, you may use Morf for your own personal or business work under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. This does not transfer ownership of the Morf application or brand. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

Subscriptions and payments

Paddle is our authorized reseller and merchant of record. It handles payment collection, applicable sales taxes, and receipts. Purchases are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. The amount, currency, billing interval, and any applicable taxes or trial terms are displayed before you confirm a purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or yearly period until canceled. You authorize recurring charges when you subscribe. Any price change will be communicated before it applies to a renewal, with any notice or consent required by law. You can cancel before that renewal if you do not accept the change.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel through the billing link in your Morf account, the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt, or Paddle support. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.

Cancellation and a refund are separate requests. Refund eligibility and how to request a refund are set out in our Refund policy. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Your projects and connected services

You retain the rights you have in your inputs and projects. Morf does not claim ownership of your project code merely because you use the app. AI-generated material and third-party components may carry third-party rights or license conditions; we do not promise that generated output is unique or free of such obligations.

You authorize Morf to access and process the files, prompts, and connected services needed to carry out your instructions. Only connect accounts and provide content you are allowed to use. You are responsible for reviewing generated code, commands, deployments, and business decisions, and for keeping backups. Automated checks do not guarantee that software is secure, correct, or suitable for your use.

Acceptable use

Do not use Morf to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, access systems without authorization, or evade access or payment controls. Do not resell access to the Morf application without permission. These restrictions do not limit rights that applicable law or an open-source license gives you.

Availability and suspension

Features may change, and updates or maintenance may interrupt access. Connected AI and hosting providers may also be unavailable or change their services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or any particular business outcome.

We may restrict or suspend access when payment fails, your use creates a security risk, you materially breach these terms, or the law requires it. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it. Stopping access does not remove any refund or other remedy required by law.

Your legal rights and changes to these terms

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If Morf is faulty or not as described, you may have remedies under applicable law in addition to our refund policy.

We may update these terms and will post the revised version with its effective date. We will give notice of material changes through the website, app, or account email before they take effect where required. Contact us if you have a complaint or need help resolving an issue.
